Rapid Mixer Granulator
KI Rapid Mixer Granulator is widely used equipment in pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is used to mix the pharmaceutical ingredients and make the granules before compression / Granulation Process and also called a high shear mixer. Impellers and chopper are mainly responsible for wet granulation in the rapid mixer granulator.


KI RMG Basic machine with all contact parts SS 316 (cGMP model), pneumatic discharge , all gaskets made of food grade silicon, process air purging system in impeller bearing housing, manual lid opening & product charging port. Reduction gear box, all motors, electrical & pneumatic parts are of reputed brand. ACVFD for main & chopper motor. Mixing Bowl: The Mixing Bowl is cylindrical with a large diameter and flat base. The Top portion of the bowl is conical in shape to assist circulation of cohesive powders. The Bowl is fabricated from S.S. 316 with all internal and external surfaces polished to mirror finish. Lid Lifting System: Manually open able lid consists of charging funnel with manual ball valve, silicon gasket for leak proof sealing & vent filter.
Impeller mixing blade: Impeller mixing blade consisting of three blades specially designed for intense mixing. The angles of the blades are designed to ensure homogeneous mixing of different ingredients. Mixing blade assembly is mounted on main shaft with separate bearing housing which fully eliminate any chance of cross contamination of product with any lubricants. The upper portion of the housing contains specially designed Teflon seal along with air purging facility. Lower stage housing contains bearing along with oil seals that make it completely leak proof. Chopper Blade: High speed knife edge 4 blade granulator is inserted horizontally through the wall of the bowl to assist blending of powder and to break the lumps of the products in to granules of required sizes. Chopper drive assembly is detachable & common for all interchangeable bowls.
Discharge Valve: Machine has a pneumatically operated side discharge outlet. The discharge plunger contour is designed for leak proof operation during closed mode. Swivel type pneumatic cylinder housing design allows easy cleaning. Safety interlocks are provided for discharge valve as well as top lid with limit switches. Main Base Frame: Rigid base frame is made of SS pipes with epoxy painted M.S. top plate. The base is designed to accommodate the mixing bowl and the control panel on top of it. Directly connected reduction gearbox & motor are housed inside the frame beneath the top plate. The machine base is totally enclosed with removable flush type S.S doors having matt finish.
